Gouger Street is right next to the Central Market and hosts restaurants serving cuisine's from all over the world including French, Argentinian, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Thai. Chinatown is also here, where there are plenty of restaurants for you to choose from. Gouger Street was named after the first Colonial Secretary of South Australia; Robert Gouger.
During the Classic Adelaide Rally, Gouger Street is closed of for a huge Street Party where Classic Cars are on display and around 40,000 people attend. This event is generally held during November and a must for car lovers.
