35 minutes drive to the airport (Cairns)
By Air: Cairns domestic and international airports provide regular and easy access with direct flights from major cities. Limousine, car rental and coach transfers are available from Cairns airport or central business district.
By Road: Kuranda Resort and Spa is located just 35 minutes driving time from Cairns. Head North on Highway 1 to Smithfield, taking the Kuranda/Mareeba Exit (Kennedy Highway). After driving up the range, pass through the only traffic lights and drive for 500m till you see the Kuranda Resort Signage, turn left and you have arrived!
Bus / Shuttle service is available to our door by John's Kuranda Bus for $6.00 per person from the Airport and $3.00 per person from Cairns. (These prices are subject to change at any time)
$20 per night for each extra adult and $20 per night for each child using a rollaway bwed or day bed. Porta-cots available for hire at $5 per night. Please contact reception if you are checking in after 10pm for after hours check in procedures.
