Bendeela is a rustic camping & picnic ground set in natural bushland on the banks of the Kangaroo River arm of Lake Yurunga, near Kangaroo Valley village. The site is designated "Special Area" due to its closeness to the Shoalhaven water supply, and is managed by the Sydney Catchment Authority.
Picnic & camping sites are available on a first in first served basis and cannot be reserved. Toilet facilities available. Campfires and charcoal barbecues are not permitted at any time. Gas barbecues may be used except during a Total Fire Ban. Dogs are not permitted at Bendeela. Plants & animals in all areas are protected by law. Horse riding, abseiling, shooting & archery are prohibited. Collection of firewood is not permitted
