Best Friend Holiday Retreat

Overview

Australia's first, and only, tourist park accommodation specifically designed for people travelling with their four-legged best friend!

Located less than three hours east of Melbourne and only 3km from the magnificent Tarra-Bulga National Park, and yet is only 25 minutes from the beach.

This is a boutique tourist park within a south-east Gippsland rainforest and located next to a mountain stream, waterfall and rock pool.

During the day, fish for trout or freshwater cray or relax amidst the spectacular birds of the rainforest in their extensive parkland gardens. By night, toast marshmallows or chestnuts (in season) on your own private campfire whilst being watched by the resident koalas.

Everything has been done to ensure your peace of mind during your stay. Cabins and drive through caravan sites are fully-fenced. There are six individual off-leash areas within the park, fully-fenced with the netting going under the ground.

There is play equipment for the dogs, "doggy-doo" stations, tethering places (in the on-leash areas) and drinking spots.

A hydro bath room to pamper your best friend, a camp kitchen, and luxury day use kennels for your best friend to stay in whilst you visit the National Park.

The cabins are one and two bedrooms (your choice from standard to deluxe) and each has a garden outlook from a spacious BBQ decking. Inside the furnishings include a full gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, TV and video. Our deluxe cabins are individually themed (Snoopy's Snoozer, Pluto's Palace and Scooby Doo's Shack) and air-conditioned.

Unfortunately there is no TV reception but with the Park's own extensive video library with over 700 titles to chose from, you won't be disappointed! And "YES" dogs are most welcome inside accommodation, subject only to the common courtesy Park Rules (available on the website).

Unfortunately Telstra doesn't think we are important enough to have Mobile reception.
