Tarra Valley Caravan Park

Caravan and Camping

Tarra Valley Caravan Park - Ninety Mile Beach, Victoria

Tarra Valley Caravan Park 'Fernholme' welcomes you to the enchanted rainforests of Tarra Bulga and Tarra Valley National Parks. Situated on the picturesque Tarra River approximately 2 and 1/2 hours from Melbourne.

Snug, rustic cabins, powered and tent sites right on the river (watch for the platypus, trout and freshwater crays). Two large barbecue sheds with huge open fires and free gas barbecues along with a playground for the children makes staying a very pleasant experience.

The National Parks with their lush fern gullies, giant mountain ash, ancient myrtle beech, water falls, lyrebirds and the suspension bridge at Tarra Bulga are one of Victoria's best kept secrets and a must to see. Tarra Valley is 19 kilometres from Yarram. Visit historic Port Albert (best fish and chips) or catch your own. The Ninety Mile beach is approximately 40 kilometres away if you like to surf.

The park has it's own Tea Rooms where you can enjoy a delicious Devonshire Tea or an ice cream.

Wake up to the sounds of the superb Lyrebird, hand feed the Rosella's and possums, watch for the wombats and count the many different species of birds that abound. Drive the stunning Grand Ridge road with its spectacular views of Wilson's Promontory and the Strzelecki ranges (lots of off road driving or mountain bike tracks abound) sample a glass at the boutique brewery at Mirboo North. What ever the season you will fall in love with our little bit of paradise.
