Camp Cypress provides air-conditioned cabin accommodation, and caravan and camping facilities for individual travellers, families and large groups.
Located 45 kilometres north-west from Coonabarabran and the Newell Highway, the camp is situated on 75 hectares of open woodland at the Baradine showground and old racecourse, and only 1.5 to 2 kilometres from town services and sporting facilities.
There are 20 powered caravan/camp sites and unlimited space for general camping.
A fully operational commercial kitchen and air-conditioned dining room can cater for groups and large functions for up to 150 guests. Workshop training facilities are also available. A free barbecue and laundry is available onsite.
Local attractions include the nearby Pilliga Forest, the outstanding new Aboriginal Sculptures at Dandry Gorge, the Pilliga Forest Discovery Centre, the Baradine Lands Council Keeping Place, Sandstone Caves, Baradine bird routes, Pilliga bore baths, and the nearby Warrumbungle National Park.
