Ross Caravan Park and Heritage Cabins

Ross Caravan Park and Heritage Cabins provides budget accommodation beside the picturesque Ross Bridge and Macquarie River. The cost for accommodation in the cabins is AUD30 per person twin share (AUD60 for two people or AUD120 for four), but for one person the cost is AUD50.

Sheets and towels can be hired at AUD5 per person.

Choose from five heritage cabins for budget accommodation housed in an historic stone building.

There are two rooms with four single beds, two rooms with two single beds and one with a double bed and two singles, accommodating 16 people in all.

Each cabin has a cook top, microwave oven and small refrigerator, heating, doonas, pillows and spare blankets.

The cabins have access to the amenities block, just 25 metres away.

The Caravan Park has 20 powered sites and 20 unpowered sites within a fully grassed area and under shady trees adjacent to the Macquarie River and walking distance to the delightful heritage village of Ross.

Stroll the elm-lined streets and sample delicious bread and scallop pies from the two bakeries or enjoy a quiet drink at the historic Man O'Ross Hotel.

Throw a line into the river and catch a fish to cook on the coin-operated barbecue within the Caravan Park itself or feed the ducks and swans and you might even see our elusive platypus next to the Ross Bridge.

Ross is an hour's drive from Launceston and one and a half hour's drive from Hobart.
