The 2011 Saint Barbara's Festival will commence with the Miner's Memorial Service. The event will begin in Saint Barbara's Square, on Thursday 1st December. Following on from this, the annual Saint Barbara's Parade will be held on Saturday the 3rd December, in the afternoon on Hannan Street.
The Saint Barbara's Festival celebrates mining's contribution to the Goldfields and The Western Australian Community, by recognising the lives lost in the industry at the Miners Memorial.
This year the entertaining parade will feature over 50 floats and the huge Cat 793 truck from KCGM. The festival is popular to everyone, both young and old.
