The Great Inland Fishing Festival is three days of fishing held at the magnificent Copeton Dam based on catch and release, and is in its 13th year.
Murray Cod is the main species targeted by anglers. Yellow Belly, Catfish and Redfin are also on offer, all of which are potentially the prize winning catch.
The Festival offers cash prizes each day for a variety of categories, and this year will also introduce a range of mystery prizes for length and entry number. To be eligible to collect the mystery prizes you must be at the presentation on Sunday 4th, at 12pm.
Champions to be determined over the three days are Junior Male and Female, Senior Male and Female, and Great Inland Fishing Champion. All anglers entered into the Junior and Senior categories are eligible to win the Championship with a prize of $1000 plus a rod and reel.
