Land Of The Beardies Festival

The Land of the Beardies Festival is a special time for families, to celebrate the rich local history of Celtic Country.

It's your chance to enjoy a fun-packed program and to experience Celtic Country's unique attractions.

The festival program is varied: from a top-ranking rodeo, fun run and walk, rock 'n' roll bands, Celtic dinner, Celtic bands, street parade, beard growing contest to markets, arts and crafts, a bowls carnival, poets' breakfast and teddy bears picnic for children.

Events during the festival include: Wine and Cheese Night, ABCRA Rodeo, Celtic Band "Braemar", amusement rides, fireworks, Old MacDonalds Farm, market stalls, street parade, Crowning of Festival Princess, Beard Growing Contest, Cat and Kitten Show, Ulysses Club Bike Show and Dinner, Truck Show and Competition, Amateur Beardies Strongman Event, Ford v Holden Car Show and a Poets Competition.

The festival is spread over nearly two weeks and includes two weekends.
