Overview

The Moonta Open Gardens Festival has been a popular event for a number of years and has previously been run in conjunction with a Craft Festival over the October Holiday weekend.

It has been decided to change the dates this year as there have been too many activities competing for attention, and it is hoped therefore that more people will have the opportunity of enjoying the many and varied gardens in the area (approximately a dozen will be opened) , that are still thriving, despite water restrictions and frequent heat wave conditions.

Come along and see how other people have adapted their gardens to cope with these stresses. and enjoy a relaxing weekend visiting the gardens, some having interesting added attractions of afternoon teas and trading tables, benefiting local organizations and charities.
