Summer Art is a group exhibition of works created by the majority of the Galleries regular artists.
In 2012 the Old Post Office Seymour Summer Art was a Celebration of 20 years. With this long history as a prestigious regional Fine Art Gallery the list of exhibiting artists is impressive.
Each year the Gallery welcomes the festive summer season with a new display and in 2013 that show will open on Sunday 17th November and continue through to Australia Day with works suitable for gifts, collecting and investment. The continuously changing show allows for the works to be collected at the time of purchase.
The exhibition will feature many of the artists that have exhibited over the years. All are multi-award winning artists and most have exhibited internationally. Many price ranges, subjects, styles, sizes and mediums are covered hopefully producing something for everyone.
The gallery exhibits paintings and limited edition prints by the same artists. Also on display is an extensive range of sculpture, pottery, artglass, woodwork and jewellery. The gallery had for over 20 years shown exclusively Australian work, however in late 2012 Murano glass jewellery, imported direct from Venice Italy, has been added and a comprehensive collection of this world famous jewellery is now continuously stocked.
Centrally located in the award winning art gallery is a fully licensed restaurant that serves everything from a Devonshire to an A La Carte extensive menu with a complimenting local wine list and is open during the day and of an evening.
The Fine Art Gallery and Fully Licensed Restaurant were established in December 1992 and the owners pride themselves on being 'a world class city-style fine art gallery and restaurant'.
