The Zeehan Gem and Mineral Fair

Overview

Come and see exquisite gems from around Australia and Tasmania.

At the Zeehan Gem and Mineral Fair there will be over 40 tables of all sorts of Crystals, Minerals, Opals, Gold, Fossils, Jewellery, Beads and lots more!

There will be 2 Specimen competitions for anyone to enter. One is for "Tasmanian" minerals and the other for "Anywhere else in the World" Minerals.

The West Coast school children will be competing in a Crystal Growing competition with great prizes for the winning students and the overall school winner. There will also be Horse and Cart rides, and SES accident display, Gem Panning, Gold Panning other rides and amusements and plenty of food and beverages.

Also there will be a lucky door prize of a Crocoite Crystal to the value of AUD500.00. Old mining equipment displays and mineral displays and much more! On Saturday evening there will be a Fireworks display.

There will be free helicopter rides to give away on Saturday the 8th of November for rides to be taken on Sunday the 9th of November.

10:00am - 5:00pm both days.
