The Maffra and District Agricultural Show has become known as one of the only truly agricultural shows to be held in Victoria. The emphasis for the show is the Horses and School's Friday program only.
As the Maffra and District Agricultural Show is the first of the Gippsland Spring Show circuit, a number of arena entries are received from competitors wanting to 'School' their horses for the coming season. The grounds have ample parking, camping facilities, yards and a well maintained and watered arena.
On the Saturday the 22nd October there will be an arts and crafts Pavilion, the horse events will continue, beef and dairy cattle, goats, poultry, entertainment, woodchop, side shows and rides and night carnival including fireworks.
