Classes, Lessons and Workshops, Exhibitions and Shows
The Discovery Program in Warrumbungle National Park Guided includes walks, talks and tours covering the natural environment, cultural heritage and astronomy.
Tara Cave in Warrumbungle National Park is one of the sites used traditionally by Gamilaraay people for many thousands of years. A tour led by an Aboriginal Discovery Ranger gives an understanding of the first people to live in the Warrumbungles. Please note, Tara Cave is not accessible to the public without a Discovery Ranger.
Other activities include tours through Mount Kaputar and the Pilliga Forest. These tours are only available in the New South Wales autumn, winter and spring school holidays, however, they can also be pre-booked for groups during the year.
Suitable for all ages.
Bookings essential.
Please contact the Warrumbungle National Park Visitor Centre for further information.
