Join one of our experienced guides for a fun and informative nature walk for four in Victoria's beautiful Yarra Valley. Bushwalking is a wonderful way to explore the local wildlife and wilderness and take time out from a busy lifestyle. Afternoon and evening nature walks are available.
This nature walk for four is the perfect way to discover the sights and sounds of the Australian bush. The difference between this nature walk and a bushwalk that you would do on your own is that this time you get to explore the forest with the experts, seeing and learning about things that you would normally miss!
You can choose to participate in a daylight or a night-time walk.
During the day your walk will be about seeing the colours and textures of the bush. More birds will be out during the day however you may still be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a wallaby or another native animal. During daylight hours you'll also get the opportunity to take lots of photos!
Night-time walks are enhanced by the mystery and magic of the Australian bush at twilight. Australia's furry marsupials are more likely to be out at night, foraging for food amongst the undergrowth. At night you will hear the cries of nocturnal birds and feel rather than see the plant-life as you brush past it.
Native animals that may be seen or heard during your nature walk include greater gliders, black wallabies, insectivorous bats, owls, common wombats, possums and sugar gliders.
