Explore the coast of Western Australia, stunning beaches and dramatic gorges with freshwater pools will enchant you. Hug the coast northbound and conveniently return via an inland route to Perth. The highlights of this tour are The Pinnacles, the Kalbarri National Park, Coral Bay and the dolphins at Monkey Mia.
Day 1 Perth to Kalbarri
Jump aboard as we head north to Nambung National Park and explore the fascinating formations of the Pinnacles Desert. Our journey continues along coastal roads to Geraldton, where we have a short break. Get ready for an adrenaline hit! Sand-boarding on local dunes will get your blood rushing. Our stop for the night is at Kalbarri. (LD)
Day 2 Kalbarri to Denham
It's an early start this morning for a short drive to Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. Here, we explore Nature's Window, the Loop and Z-Bend Gorge an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the heart of the gorge before an invigorating swim in the tranquil water pools (seasonal).
Feeling adventurous Give abseiling a go (at own expense). Lunch is well-earned today! In the afternoon we head towards Monkey Mia, stopping at gorgeous Shell Beach before reaching our overnight stop at Denham. (BLD)
Day 3 Denham to Coral Bay
We hit the beach after a short drive across the Peron Peninsula and make our way to the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins have your camera ready for some great shots of these entrancing animals.
From here, we head to Carnarvon, with a stop at a banana plantation (the chocolate coated frozen bananas sold here are a yummy treat!) From Carnarvon we finish the day by driving the highway to Coral Bay, the Jewel of the North. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Coral Bay and Exmouth
It's time to explore! Spend today discovering the wonders of the Ningaloo Reef and its fantastic marine wildlife. Snorkelling, cruising on a glass-bottom boat, quad bike tours or a joy flight over the reef are just some of the ways you can check out this beautiful aquatic park (all at own expense). Late this afternoon we make the short trip to Exmouth. (BLD)
Day 5 Exmouth
Another day of freedom and relaxation! Laze around on the beach or head underwater to go diving (optional). Otherwise, we'll tour around the area including Turquoise Bay and Yardie Creek. (BL)
Day 6 and 7 Exmouth to Perth
We hit the road at 7.00am to begin our trip back to Perth, staying overnight at Northbrook Farmstay for our last evening together. In the morning, it's a short trip to the Principality of Hutt River, where you'll be fascinated with Prince Leonard's story and why he seceded from Australia a unique story! Bring your passport along to add another stamp!
From here, our journey south towards Perth continues. Along the way we stop at Greenough Wildlife Park, which is home to a python breeding centre. Get friendly with a snake (and other native animals) if you're game! We arrive back in Perth in the late afternoon, where we farewell our new friends.

This tour departs on all year round, Mon Fri. Accommodation pickup commences at 7:20 am. Your exact pickup time will be confirmed when you receive confirmation of your booking. Low Season rates are available for departures before the 31 March 2012.

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of four and we travel with a group of up to 24 passangers.
GUIDELINES
You must call us before 16.00 hours (4.00pm) the day prior to travel with the name of your accommodation and room number.
Tours can be rescheduled free of charge, subject to availability. If you cancel 30 days before your travel date, no cancellation fees apply. If you cancel within 30 days of your travel date you will be charged 25% of your booking cost. If you cancel with 24 hours of your travel dates, you will charged 100% of your booking cost. Cancellations must be made through Australian Explorer.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Sturdy walking shoes (preferably ankle high), hat and sunscreen, towel and toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing, water bottle, torch, insect repellent / net, pillow, camera and film, money for optional snacks you might want to buy and/or meals not included on the specific tour you might be doing.
OTHER
If you are vegetarian or gluten intolerant we can cater for you, but if you have very specific dietary needs you may need to provide your own food, please discuss this at time of booking. For breakfast we supply cereals, toast, tea and coffee. Lunch is usually a self-serve sandwich and salads; in the evening we have a cooked dinner. We always carry water in the vehicle and you will often have the chance to buy your own drinks, ice-creams etc at stops.
You will need to sign an indemnity form before departing on this tour. This tour is not suitable for children 7 years and under. The vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15 kgs in a backpack or soft overnight bag with a small day pack for easy access to camera, film, sunblock etc.
Please Note : Accommodation on this tour is in shared hostel and farm stay accommodation and you can choose to upgrade to private accommodation at an additional cost.
