Escape to Cape Leveque for some rest and relaxation on the coast at the tip of the Dampier Peninsular. This is a beautiful place that will have you relaxed for days on end. You will be sleeping in a Superior Safari Tent that will ensure your comfort throughout the stay. This is a holiday that you will never forget.
Journey far north to Cape Leveque, a remote coastal wilderness and stay in the renowned safari tents at Kooljaman Wilderness Camp. Perched on the hillside with ocean views your cosy self contained safari tent (with ensuite) provides the ideal retreat to enjoy the peace and quiet, soak up the sun and swim at pristine uncrowded beaches.
During your stay here meals can be delivered to your accommodation by the “Bush Butler” service (own expense) or purchased at the onsite Dinkas Café (closed Sunday evening). Some supplies can be purchased for self catering. BYO fruit, vegetables and alcohol is welcome as these supplies are not available at Cape Leveque (storage space on 4WD is available to transport food supplies).
Ask at the Cape Leveque office about optional activities including scenic flights over the Buccaneer Archipelago, dinghy and fishing rod hire, a boat cruise or a guided tour or fishing trip from Lombadina, a neighbouring Aboriginal community (bookings should be made prior to arrival at Cape Leveque).
The 4WD road journey visits Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community and One Arm Point en route to Cape Leveque and Lombadina Aboriginal Community on the way back from Cape Leveque.

DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
We suggest a casual standard of dress. As Western Australia has seasonal climate - you will need cooler clothes for our warm winter (the nights can be cool). Some hotels do require a neater standard of casual dress in the evening, i.e. shirt with collar and covered shoes for gents. A sun hat and sun cream are a good idea during the summer months and even in winter in the nor thwest. Don't forget your camera and binoculars if you're a wildlife enthusiast. We also strongly recommend personal insect repellant.
