Our 6 Day Overland Track is an unforgettable experience along a graded trail through the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area will take you from the stunning crags of Cradle Mountain to the rainforest-clad shores of Lake St. Clair.
Every step will lead to new discoveries and some of mother nature's finest creations including waterfalls, dolerite mountains, lakes, tarns and diverse ecosystems. We meet on Day 1 at 1pm sharp unless you have requested a hotel pick-up from the Reservation staff. Hotel pick-ups are between 12.30 and 1pm. This tour departs from Launcestion at 6.30am on Sunday morning and finishes at 5pm on Friday afternoon.

GUIDELINES
As this is an active walking tour you should have a good level of fitness. Moderate Grade: These adventures involve trekking, cycling, rafting or sea kayaking for up to 6 or 7 hours a day at a steady pace. These trips may spend successive days at altitudes not generally exceeding 5,500m. You will need a good level of fitness and be in good health.
NOTE: The following items are not included in the cost of the tour – travel to Launceston (airfares, Spirit of Tasmania etc), accommodation before and after the trip, items of a personal nature as listed in the gear checklist, car parking in Launceston, alcoholic beverages & travel insurance.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Please bring enough clothing for your getaway. When your booking is confirmed you will be sent a check list of all of the items that you will need to bring on the trip.
During the walks you will need to carry a small backpack. It will need to contain a water bottle, warm and waterproof clothing, sunscreen, your camera and a snack that your guide may offer before departing the bus. Your daypack needs to be at least 25 Litres in capacity and should not weigh more than 5-7 Kgs once packed.

The group leader reserves the right to make modifications and or alterations to the trips itinerary in the best interests of all involved.
