Rainforest Discovery Bushwalk - Bushwalking, Nature & WildlifeDiscover the World Heritage Rainforest of Springbrook National Park through the eyes of a highly trained professional. Your guide will provide you with insights into characteristics of these Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves .

Today we start our program by visiting the spectacular Natural Arch. This amazing natural formation is a waterfall and cave all in one, courtesy of mother nature.

Next we are off to Springbrook National Park. With waterfalls cascading overhead, marvel at the wonders of the rainforest while walking the Twin Falls Circuit. Our guided walk through sub-tropical and temperate rainforests takes you a little further, to the view points that most visitors miss out on.

Our fresh and delicious lunch is made even better with a chance to stand overlooking the region's largest waterfall - Purlingbrook Falls

Following lunch, journey into the rainforest to see ancient, endangered, 2000 year old Antartic Beech trees. Then stand on the edge of the extinct Tweed Shield Volcano. How has this giant shaped the local area?

Keep a lookout for native wildlife such as Wallabys and Rainforest Birds. If you are lucky, there are a number of rare wildlife that can be spotted from the tracks.

Next, the "Best Of All Lookout", which is just as good as its name suggests! Here we have sweeping views from Byron Bay to Tweed Heads.

Our last activity today is to visit the grotto. This is the home to one of the rainforest's most intriguing creatures, GLOW WORMS. In the pitch black darkness of the grotto, 10 000 glow worms light up the ceiling like stars in the night. This brings us to the end of the day and your guide will now take you back to your accommodation. A full day of stunning views, mountains of information and hearty food.

The longest walk is approximately 6km (taking around 1.5 hours). There is also another walk, which takes about 30 minutes and an additional 2 shorter walks.
