Australian Outback Spectacular’s ‘Spirit of the Horse’ brings to life this iconic Australian story in a specially designed world class arena. The all new show features an amazing cast of larger than life characters as well as magnificent animals including the spirited Australian stockhorse.

The stunning special effects will have you on the edge of your seat as we celebrate the courageous spirit of the Australian horse and pay tribute to the legend that is Phar Lap.

The music of Australian Outback Spectacular delights and captivates audiences with its authentic Australian sounds and specifically Australian flavour. On arrival each guest will be handed their very own stockmans hat and there will be photo opportunties before you enter the arena. During the course of the evening you will be served traditional Aussie tucker with your choice of beer, wine or soft drink and of course billie tea. So get your country gear on and join us for some good old Aussie hospitality!

You will become truly immersed in the spirit and grandeur of the Australian Outback from the moment you step through the arena doors. You can pull up a stool at the Aussie pub and whet your whistle. Doors to the Aussie Pub open approximately one hour prior to show time for your opportunity to relax and purchase beverages during the Pre-show entertainment.

From the fully themed Australian landscape with great iconic Australian natives and scenic backdrops, the Arena sand which evokes Australian outback, the corrugated iron roof and galvanised railings and heavy timbers that are used throughout the arena to the old fashioned wagon wheel light fittings, and the winding billabong located under the entrance bridge – the venue truly feels and looks like a traditional outback shearing shed located in the Outback.

A mouthwatering and tantalizing array of Aussie food will make up the delicious dinner you will be served during Australian Outback Spectacular!

You’ll start off with a tasty mixed Queensland salad mixed with tangy mango dressing and rolled in a flat bread swag… this will be followed by barbecue tenderloin beef steak with rich gravy, seasoned with Kakadu plum sauce and served with garden vegetables and Australian Damper, then it’s finished off with traditional baked Pavlova with Queensland berries and country cream and Bush Billy Tea!

For vegetarian guests, mains will consist of a Ratatouille mix of capsicums, onion, zucchini, egg plant, chopped tomato and fresh herbs mixed with a bush tomato sauce, served in a camp oven pot and topped with pastry. You’ll also be served a choice of either beer, wine or soft drink throughout the show.

Now this is the exciting part of the show as we entertain you with our skilled stockmen and women and a huge array of delightful animals including 59 horses, and other favourite Australian animals including 11 Longhorn and 11 Santa Gertrudis cattle, three camels, 50 sheep, three dogs and five piglets!

The arena is split into two cattle stations and the side that gives the loudest cheers will be the winning station.

Australian Outback Spectacular’s ‘Spirit of the Horse’ is a high energy show that demands every participant be well fed and that applies especially to the audience! So forty stockmen and women will serve up a gourmet Aussie feast with beer, wine or soft drink to all 1000 guests in record time.

NOTE: The Christmas Midweek Package is applicable for bookings throughout December and January. The regular Midweek Package is applicable for bookings from February through November.

NOTE: The 2012 - 2013 season rates are valid from the 1st April 2012 to the 31st March 2013. The 2013 - 2014 season rates commence on the 1st April 2013.
