Experience a unique adventure and see Adelaide in a totally different way! Ride from the summit of Mount Lofty on mountain bikes all the way back down to Adelaide. Explore stunning native bush on trails normally closed to bikes, and enjoy a visit to Cleland wildlife park to see Kangaroos, Koalas and more along the way.
We will pick you up from Central Adelaide, and transport you to the summit of Mount Lofty, which at 710m is the highest point in the Mount Lofty Ranges, and offers stunning views of Adelaide, the Adelaide hills, and the plains below. From here it is downhill all the way back to Adelaide!
After a stop for photos, we will provide you with a good quality mountain bike and helmet, and make sure you are comfortable and happy with your bike. It is then a short ride though Cleland Conservation park to our first stop of the day, Cleland Wildlife park. Here you will have a chance to wander at leisure and feed or pat kangaroos, Wallabies, emus and many other native wildlife. You may even have the chance to pat a koala.
After a little morning tea, it is then time to continue our Descent down to Adelaide. We are the only Tour Operator permitted to bring riders into Cleland Conservation Park, which is normally closed to all cyclists. We will then ride through stunning natural bush, and perhaps see more koalas or kangaroos in their native environment, along with more stunning views of Adelaide.
Finally we will cruise though the quiet roads and suburbs of Adelaide to the end of our trip.

Morning Tea was a treat and so was the off road Mountain Bike Tour which allows access to areas of Cleland Conservation Park exclusively accessible to those on this tour. Trips depart at 9:00am from Central Adelaide. We will return to Adelaide by approximately 1:00pm. Tours are run on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with other days available on request.

This experience will operate with a minimum of 4 participants and our maximum group size is 6 participants.
GUIDELINES
This trip is suitable for anyone comfortable to ride a bike for approximately 90 minutes, the riding is mainly downhill, but a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable and appropriate clothing for a day on the bike. Bring a jacket or extra layer, and a waterproof jacket if rain is possible, and/or sun screen if needed. We recommend enclosed footwear.
