The Margaret River Weekend Discovery is a high quality program of fun and excitement! We combine the three challenging activities of rock climbing, abseiling and caving with dorm style accommodation in the magnificent Margaret River area for an inspirational weekend you won't forget!
The Margaret River Discovery is a two and a half day adventure program that allows participants to leave the hustle of the city life behind on Friday evening for the tranquillity of a bush camp for the weekend.
Your adventures for the weekend start off with abseiling and rock climbing at the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs that overlook the beautiful Southern Ocean. After a thorough safety brief and equipment check, its time to perfect your technique on the sea cliffs’ nursery slopes before mastering the main abseil of 35m. During the day you will also get the chance to master the art of rock climbing!
Day two centres around the underground treasures of the Leeuwin Naturalist Ridge. The caves are the hidden treasures of the region. We head into the Boranup forest and explore the maze of tunnels and chambers with their spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. The climax of the day is accessing the cave by rope, via a 35m overhang.
