This is is an excellent two day program for those of you who are just starting out climbing, or have been training on gym walls and are ready to start outdoor climbing. The Introductory course is designed for those with little or no experience with rock climbing or rope-work.
The focus of the two-day program is on developing your skills and confidence in setting up the safety systems (belay systems) associated with climbing, with considerable time spent on the rock developing personal climbing technique.
Our excellent safety record and the fact that the majority of participants go on to advanced courses stand as testimony to the quality and value of our rock climbing program. We are also the preferred trainers for the Climbing Association of Western Australia.
Rock Climbing notes will be provided to all participants. At the completion of the course you will have developed your personal climbing technique and should be confident in establishing top-rope belay systems and belaying another climber.
