Our Half Day Barron River Rafting Adventure in the spectacular Barron Gorge National Park offers a fun and adventureous day for everyone.
The rapids on the Barron River are of grade 2-3 which means they are simple technical rapids with a need to manoeuvre the raft, which results in great rafting for first timers.
Along the calmer sections you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the worlds oldest Heritage Listed Rainforest and waterfalls from a unique waterline perspective.
Plus, the Barron River is located only 20 minutes from Cairns, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy other activities on the same day.

GUIDELINES
Minimum age is 13 years.
Rafting is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Participants will need to bring their ticket, lace-up shoes or reef / teva sandals, swimming costume, change of clothes, towel, sunscreen and money for souvenirs if required.
OTHER
There is a $25 per person Pay on Board fee/levy for insurance charges, land
management agency prescribed daily client fee, water release fees, transfer costs, GST and administration charges. This fee is payable on the day of travel.
Photos and merchandise are available for purchase on the day.
