A short ferry ride from the South Australian coastline, Kangaroo Island boasts some of Australia's most unique features including abundant native wildlife and spectacular, unspoilt landscapes. With a name like Kangaroo Island, you'd be right in thinking that kangaroos roam wild throughout the Island, making it one of the best places to see kangaroos in their natural habitat. Make sure you keep an eye out for other little natives like koalas and wallabies too.
Drive through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis to board the SeaLink ferry for the crossing to Kangaroo Island. On arrival travel to Seal Bay where you will enjoy a guided beach walk among a breeding colony of Australian sea lions.
After an included lunch head on down to Flinders Chase National Park, a sanctuary for wildlife. Walk to Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch, a nursery haven for fur seals. Return to Adelaide by ferry and coach.
