Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Cairns - Cape Tribulation
Depart Cairns at 7.00am with your Driver guide in an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle. Travel the scenic route to Mossman then on to the Daintree River, where it's 'all aboard' for an informative one hour river cruise. Ascend the Alexandra Range and stop for a panoramic view of World Heritage Rainforest merging with the Coral Sea. Experience the rainforest intimately on your elevated National Park Boardwalk. Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch before you travel along the 4WD only Bloomfield Track to Emmagen Creek. Spend the night at Cape Tribulation. Breakfast and lunch included. Hotel: Ferntree Rainforest Lodge, Cape Tribulation.
Day 2: Cape Tribulation - Cooktown
Journey on the Bloomfield Track, over rugged mountain ranges and river crossings. Look for crocodiles and other wildlife and fauna. After lunch visit the mysterious Black Mountain, which is steeped in Aboriginal legend, before arriving in Cooktown for the evening. Breakfast and lunch included. Hotel: Sovereign Resort Hotel, Cooktown.
Day 3: Cooktown - Cairns
This morning is at leisure to explore Cooktown. Visit the James Cook Museum or stroll along the shores of the Endeavour River. Or perhaps join Nugal-warra Elder, Willie Gordon, on the Rainbow Serpent Rock Art tour (own expense). Later, travel north on the Mulligan Highway through the Palmer River Gold Mine region, the Outback of Far North Queensland. Stop for dinner in Mount Molloy (own expense) before returning to Cairns, arriving at approximately 9.30pm.

DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, weatherproof jacket and good walking shoes are a good starting point for packing. There is no need for lots of formal clothes, however you might like to include a few options to wear out for dinner, but above all you want to be comfortable.
Casual, drip-dry lightweight clothes are perfect. Other items, depending on your tour might include insect repellant, a swimming costume and towel, small portable umbrella, travel alarm clock, medications and of course your camera to capture all those wonderful sights.
