Your 30 Minute Balloon flight will introduce you to the safe and exciting sport of ballooning, in a spectacular dawn trip which highlights the diverse eco-culture of the Cairns region.
As the sun rises our pilots gently lift off and quietly glide the balloons over the panorama of the Cairns Highlands (also known as the Atherton Tablelands).
Afterwards you are treated to a wonderful breakfast at our outback adventures site, and then returned to Cairns or Kuranda with plenty of time to enjoy other tours in the same day.

Spectator Pass Available
NOTE: A spectator pass is available for anyone who wants to experience your Ballooning tour with you, but would prefer to stay on terra firma.
The spectator pass will give them access to the balloon launch site, a seat in the balloon chase vehicle, which will transport them to the landing site. An optional light breakfast will be available for purchase before returning to Cairns.

Accommodation Transfers depart Cairns and Cairn's Northern Beaches daily at approx 4.30am and returns approx 10.00am. Please note Hot Air Ballooning only runs in the morning.

We require a minimum 10 people to fly. Maximum of 120 people per morning.
GUIDELINES
Ballooning is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
Children aged 4-14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
It can be quite cool in the mornings, so please remember a jacket to keep warm early in the morning. It is best to wear layers so that you can take off a layer once it gets warmer in the day.

There is a $30 per person Pay on Board fee for civil aviation and other insurance charges, take off/landing fees, transfer costs, GST and administration charges is payable on the day of travel.
