Our Balloon and Tully Rafting Adventure combines an action packed day of fun and adventure rafting on the thrilling Tully River with the best views across Cairns and the Cairns Highlands from a Hot Air Balloon.
Day 1: Full Day Tully River White Water Rafting
Begin your day with collection from your Cairns, Northern Beaches or Mission Beach accommodation and travel south to the spectacular surroundings that await you. The Tully River is situated in stunning World Heritage Listed rainforest and offers an awesome day out rafting grade 3-4 rapids over 5 hours.
Be prepared to experience rushes as you raft across some of the Tully River's famous rapids such as the 'Alarm Clock', 'Wet and Moisty', 'Stair Case' and the dramatic 'Theatre'.
Once you have mastered the Tully River rapids you will be able to enjoy a BBQ lunch alongside the river as you discuss your mornings adventure.
Day 2: 30 Minute Balloon Flight
As the sun rises your pilots gently lift off and quietly glide the balloons over the panorama of the Cairns Highlands (also known as the Atherton Tablelands).
Afterwards you are treated to a wonderful breakfast at our outback venue, before being returned to your accommodation or Kuranda with plenty of time to enjoy other tours in the same day.

Day 1 (Rafting): Departs accommodation daily at approx. 7.00 am and returns approx. 6.30 pm. Day 2 (Ballooning): Departs accommodation at approx 4.30am and returns approx 10.30am.

Experience will run with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 120 passengers.
GUIDELINES
Minimum age: 13 years.
Rafting and Ballooning is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
No experience is necessary, all training will be provide.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Ballooning: It can be quite cool in the mornings, so please remember a jacket to keep warm early in the morning. It is best to wear layers so that you can take off a layer once it gets warmer in the day.
Rafting: Participants will need to bring their ticket, lace-up shoes or reef / teva sandals, swimming costume, change of clothes, towel, sunscreen and money for souvenirs if required.

Ballooning: There is a $25.00 per person Pay on Board fee for civil aviation and other insurance charges, take off/landing fees, transfer costs, GST and administration charges is payable on the day of travel.
Rafting: There is a $25 per person Pay on Board fee/levy for insurance charges, land management agency prescribed daily client fee, water release fees, transfer costs, GST and administration charges. This fee is payable on the day of travel.
Photos and merchandise are available for purchase on the day.
