30 Minute Tiger Moth Joy Flight

Have you always dreamed of jumping into a cockpit of a vintage tiger moth? Your dreams will become a reality as we take you on a flight of a lifetime in our vintage Tiger Moth DH82. During your 30 Minute Tiger Moth Joy Flight you will fly over the inspiring Glass House Mountains and the beautiful Bribie Island.

Your adventure will start with a meet and greet with your highly experienced tiger moth pilot. Your pilot will provide you with pre-flight briefing where you will learn about the aeroplane and its history.

During your safety briefing your pilot will teach you how to get in and out of the aircraft, what to do whilst flying and how to communicate using the historical hand signals. With your dream about to take place your pilot will map out your journey and tell you about the sights you will see as you fly across South-East Queensland.

With your journey mapped out and all of formalities out of the way its time to put on your authentic flying gear. You are sure to feel like a pilot in your flight jacket, goggles, helmet and scarf. Be sure to bring along your camera so that you can capture the moment.

After you have taken off you will begin to climb to an altitude of 2000ft and soaring as low as 500ft you will now get the opportunity to fly in an open cockpit. Your highlights will include the spectacular Bribie Island and its national park surrounds before flying over the majestic Glass House Mountains. You are free to take as many photos as you like whilst enjoying this amazing experience.

This scenic flight is for pure enjoyment and relaxation, you will not be subjected to death defying acrobatics or stomach churning diving, however you may request some gentle wingovers.

NOTE: The 2012 - 2013 season rates are valid from the 1st April 2012 to the 31st March 2013. The 2013 - 2014 season rates commence on the 1st April 2013.
