Outdoor Paintball Skirmish in the Hawkesbury Valley - Paintball & Laser SkirmishJoin the thrilling and action packed sport of an outdoor paintball skirmish. Work together as a team to capture the enemy's flag and secure victory. A great day of fun for everyone, this unique sport is sure to have you coming back for more.

Paintball is a combination of childhood "tag" and "hide and seek", but is more challenging and sophisticated. Dividing into two teams, paintball typically consists of a game of Capture The Flag. The Hawkesbury Valley accommodates teams of 15-20 players per side to ensure the grounds aren't overcrowded.

The objective of the game is to go out and capture the other team's flag while defending your own. While trying to capture a flag you also try to eliminate opposing players by tagging them with a paintball, expelled by a special Co2 gas-powered paintgun. Paintballs are made of a brittle gelatin capsule filled with non toxic food colouring, sorbitol and glycol. The average number of rounds fired in a full day of games is 500-700 paintballs.

Games generally have a time limit of 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the field and the number of players. Between games you will have time to check your equipment, recount the thrills of victory and the usually funny agonies of defeat. Win or lose everyone has a good time and there's always the next game awaiting you.
