Our fantastic Rottnest Island Ferry Transfer departs from Hillarys Boat Harbour 3 times daily. We also have an additional departure on Friday evenings, giving you a great variety of times through out the day to travel and return. There is also an option to stay overnight (accommodation not included) and return the next day.
The Island is the perfect destination for holidaymakers looking for a relaxing holiday or an exciting outing for the day. You can take time to discover your own private beach walk, enjoy a range of dining sensations or take part in a variety of recreation options all of which will guarantee a great day out.
It is 11km long and 4.5km at its widest point, and is situated just 40 minutes by ferry from Hillarys Boat Harbour. Rottnest boasts some of the finest beaches and bays in the world, together with a unique style of architecture dating back to the 1800's.
If you would like to add to your day trip there is an option to hire bicycle and Snorkel Equipment. Which ever way you see Rottnest, you are sure to be amazed at what the island has to offer.

Ferry departs from Hillarys Boat Harbour at 7:15am, 9:45am, 4:00pm & 6:00pm (Fridays only). Ferry departs from Rottnest Island at 8:15am, 3:00pm, 5:00pm & 6:45pm (Friday's only). All departures are weather permitting.

GUIDELINES
Concession: Seniors, Backpackers & Full time students. - ID must be presented when collecting tickets, or full fare will be charged. Family Pass based on 2 adults & 2 children (4-12).
If taking your own bike, please note we do not take any responsibility if your bike is damaged on the ferry to and from Rottnest. Your bike maybe exposed to sea spray and may get damaged from the rough seas; therefore if you are concerned please hire a bike from our office.
There are limits on how much luggage you can take to Rottnest. We will supply you with 2 luggage tags per person, any additional luggage must be paid for. $25 deposit per person required on all hire equipment.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
We suggest casual clothing such as shorts and T-shirts during the day, as well as swimming costume, hat and sunglasses. For evenings at the Island, smart casual attire is suggested.
OTHER
We do not take any responsibility for your baggage if it is lost or stolen once it enters the crate from Hillarys Boat Harbour to Rottnest Island or from Rottnest Island to Hillarys Boat Harbour. Guests must take full responsibility to look after their baggage at all times and making sure they have the correct labels on their baggage.
