River Cruise along the Murray River with a Buffet Lunch

There is no better way to see the famous Murray River than on a relaxing cruise combined with a delicious gourmet buffet lunch. Sit back and relax as we take you on a three hour tour of the Murray River. You will also be able to explore the historical town of Mannum and the Mannum Dock Museum!!

Join us as we depart Adelaide's suburbs travelling through the picturesque Adelaide Hills en route to Australia's biggest river - The Mighty Murray.

First stop in the Adelaide Hills is at Mount Lofty Summit to view the stunning sights of the city of Adelaide (a great photo opportunity). This stop will be dependent on climatic conditions at the time and on occasions may be changed to the return journey. Your experienced tour guide will make that judgement on the day.

On arrival enjoy morning tea, as we depart for our Three Hour Cruise relax on board as our skipper provides an interesting commentary on the river system including some Aboriginal folklore.

While you journey on the river, relax and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings and indulge in a delicious buffet lunch consisting of cold meat platters, an assortment of home-made sandwiches, vegetable slice, fruit platter and finish with a delightful selection of locally made cakes, tea & coffee. We even include a complimentary glass of house wine or soft drink with our lunch (you may purchase extra beverages if you wish).

Take in the peaceful tranquillity of the river red gums while spotting galahs, cockatoos, pelicans and kangaroos.

There is time to explore Mannum the birthplace of the river paddlesteamers. As an added bonus we offer free entry to the Mannum Dock Museum of river history (includes access to view the 100 year old paddlesteamer P.S. Marion).

Visit the Mannum Lookout to enjoy the panoramic view over the Murray River. Departing the Murray en route via the scenic Onkaparinga Valley to Melba Chocolates where you can taste from a wide range of assortments.
