Imagine, floating above the Barossa Valley, drifting with the breeze and not a care in the world. Dreaming? Think again! Ballooning is probably the most romantic form of transportation, from the traditional wicker basket to the champagne breakfast. Balloon flying in the morning, wine tasting in the afternoon. Sound tempting?
Once at the launch site we then inflate the balloon which takes about half an hour. Then it's up, up and away for an experience of a lifetime. We fly with the wind for approximatley an hour which gives you plenty of time to take photos and just enjoy the sense of freedom drifting with the breeze.
Then when we land, our support vehicle arrives, we pack the balloon away, then head off to pop some corks and enjoy some of the local bubbly and fine Barossa food. Our gourmet champagne breakfast features a selection of the finest Barossa foods and good "ol' fashioned" home cooking.
After your champagne breakfast everyone is then officially certified a "Balloonatic" with your own flight certificate. So in total you're with us for about 5 - 6 hours - from the time we pick you up from the meeting point to the time we drop you back at the same meeting point.
We fly down wind for approximately an hour. On landing the balloon is packed away and the retrieve crew picks us all up.
NOTE: The 2012 - 2013 season rates are valid from the 1st April 2012 to the 31st March 2013. The 2013 - 2014 season rates commence on the 1st April 2013.

The duration of your hot air balloon flight is approximately 1 hour. We are available to fly seven days a week, all year round, weather permitting. We meet approximately one hour before sunrise, so that time changes throughout the year.

The price quoted is for one person. Our maximum is 16, but sometimes we get to the weight limit of the balloon before we get to the 16 passengers. If you have a group larger than 16, give us a call to discuss options.
GUIDELINES
You should be able to bend your knees and hold on with both hands to the rope handles inside the basket.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Flat soled walking shoes, a hat, and reading glasses if you need them.

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority rules prevent us from carrying handicapped or disabled people.
