If you enjoy Great Beer & BBQ then this is the class for you! Learn to cook some delicious dishes and match the flavours with the James Squire range of beers in a fun and interactive class.
Your BBQ Cooking class commences with a beer on arrival and an introduction to the group covering what we would most like to achieve from the lesson or course. Aprons are provided to all students to get into the mood for cooking up a storm.
Our experienced chef demonstrators introduce themselves and outline what is to be achieved from the day. In our Beer & BBQ lesson, we cover all things entertaining with a diner party style menu that is matched with boutique beers to ensure we will really impress when we next entertain at home.
We then get straight in to demonstrating the first dish where all participants are integral in the production, management and serving of all dishes.
We sit down together as group to share in our first creation with a detailed beer tutorial matched to our first course. We then embark on our next course covering all parts of BBQ myths and secrets and work together via an initial demonstration to achieve our next course served together.
All participants are then given the tongs and lifters to re-create their meals with hints and tips from our experienced chefs. In our Beer & BBQ lesson we look at the how and why to achieve really moist and crisp seafood and meat dishes including key buying tips and hints to ensure we are purchasing and receiving exactly what we set out to; The freshest possible product.
We again enjoy a detailed beer tutorial matched to our lunch with hints to best varieties and vintages to serve when we next fire up the BBQ.
During our lessons we assume no knowledge and research fully the best outcomes for cooking more confidently on the BBQ.
All attendee’s get to share and celebrate their BBQ feast on completion matched to 4 boutique beers.
