Treat yourself to a day of relaxation with Wine Tasting and Gourmet Lunch in the Hunter Valley. You will be spoiled with a day of formal wine tasting before dining on a delicious gourmet lunch. After lunch you will be free to explore through the Pokolbin Village before returning back to Sydney.
There is no better way to explore the Hunter Valley than on our popular Hunter Valley Winery Tour. We will begin the tour by picking you up from your city hotel or a convenient Sydney city location. You will travel in style in our 14 seater Mercedes Tourer and you will be provided with complimentary commentary along the way by your guide. Your friendly guide will explain your day, lunch and winery options but will also tell you about the history of Australian wine and culture.
Then its time to sit back and relax as you enjoy our DVD presentation that will explore wine tasting, the wine industry in the Hunter valley and Australia.
During the day we will enjoy 3 to 4 formal wine tastings as a group. You will be free to suggest which wineries you would like to visit, but we do have one regular stop which is the Iron Gate Estate. This is one of our favourite wineries in the Hunter Valley and while here we will enjoy a behind the scenes tour of the wine making process.
Now its time to enjoy a 2 course gourmet lunch at one of the Hunter Valley's award winning restaurants. You will be able to choose from a seasonally changing menu that features fresh local produce. Also included with your gourmet lunch is a complimentary glass of fine Hunter Valley wine.
After lunch you will be able to explore the charming Pokolbin Village where you will be able to do some more wine or cheese tasting. You can also browse through the villages chocolate shop, or visit Pokolbin's other shops and galleries.
Before you know it we will be enjoying a relaxing drive back to Sydney. We will return you to your accommodation by around 6.00 pm.

The duration of this tour is approximately 10 hours. We operate everyday, except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. We will pick you up between 7.20am - 8.00 am and dropped off between 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
