Our vessel is the largest whale watch vessel in the Bay, purpose designed for ocean cruises, with three viewing decks and underwater video cameras to see the marine life at close range.
You will never forget seeing the awesome bulk of a Humpback whale, 15 metres long and weighing 40 tonnes! Being the most surface active of all the whales you may be provided with some spectacular displays - spyhops, pectoral slaps, body rolls and... the breach.
You might also see minke, pilot and Southern Right whales, huge pods of Oceanic Dolphins (over 100 to a pod), sea birds and some amazing marine life cruising the ocean each day.
Included in your cruise is morning or afternoon tea, informative and entertaining commentary and the chance to also see our local bottlenose dolphins (two cruises for the price of one). Also included is a bonus inner Harbour Dolphin Watch, so you don't miss out on seeing some of Port Stephens resident Bottlenose dolphins!

Our morning sessions depart at 10:00am and return at 1:00pm. Our afternoon sessions depart at 1:30pm and return at 4:30pm daily from early May until late November. The duration of this cruise is 3 hours.

This is an ocean going cruise and is recommended that you check sea conditions before taking very young children (ie. under 2 years).
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Wear comfortable clothing and please bring sun protection. Bring swimwear and a towel if you would like to use the boomnet. Warm jacket during Winter.

PLEASE NOTE: Child prices are valid for children aged between 4 to 14 years old. Family prices are valid for 2 adults and 2 children. Concession prices are valid on presentation of a seniors card.

* Please note that unlike our dolphins no one can guarantee you will see a whale at any particular time or place and much depends on weather conditions. Some cruises may be cancelled due to weather. Whale season may vary slightly from year to year. This is an ocean going cruise. This experience does not include transfers.
