During the day we will stop at a number of wineries and we will also enjoy a delicious two course lunch at a boutique winery. On arrival into McLaren Vale we will stop for morning tea at Blessed Cheese before venturing the short distance to our first winery stop.

Fox Creek's Cellar Door is a nineteenth century stone cottage set amongst the vineyards on a picturesque property. We visit the state of the art winemaking facility which is a highlight of this tour.

Next stop is The Olive Grove. Sample the fruits of the harvest as well as locally produced gourmet delights.

Woodstock Winery is our next stop for wine tasting and a 2 course lunch. Woodstock is a small boutique winery and the cellar door offers a wide range of premium table wines and fortifieds. The delightful 2 course lunch includes Woodstock's renowned Regional Platter.

Hugo Wines a family owned vineyard producing quality wines is our last stop before driving into the Adelaide Hills. The original vines date back to 1950. The vineyard is approximately 30 hectares and includes varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Grenache.

We now leave the McLaren Vale area for a 30 minute drive to the Adelaide Hills stopping at Bridgewater Mill the home of the world renowned Petaluma Wines.

Our last stop for the day is at Arranmore Vineyard situated in the heart of South Australia's picturesque Adelaide Hills. This small vineyard covers 5 acres and approx. 6,000 vines being mainly Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. A visit here is truly a very personal and "hands on" experience. This stop is one of the main highlights on the tour.
