During this full day tour we will take you to five of the Barossa Valley local wineries. We will also visit Maggie Beer's Farm Shop where there will be a choice of 6 different wines under the Beer Bros Wine label. Also included in this full day tour is a gourmet regional platter Lunch a vineyard tour as well as informative commentary throughout the day.
After we have picked you up from your accommodation we will begin our journey to the famous Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre for a structured Wine Tasting.
Our next stop for the day is at Maggie Beers Farm Shop. There is a choice of 6 different wines under the Beer Bros Wine label. These wines are available for tasting & purchase exclusively from Maggie Beer's Farm Shop, Maggie's Website or via mail order. Visit the Farm Shop and tempt your taste buds with some of Maggie's famous products or purchase to enjoy later.
We continue on to Wolf Blass Visitor Centre for wine tasting and a delicious 2 course lunch, consisting of Regional Platter followed by Cake with Tea/Coffee. The Wolf Blass estate has around 550 hectares under vine throughout the premium viticulture regions of South Australia. The winery in the Barossa Valley produces around 700,000 cases of wine annually. Sit back and relax, taking in the ambience and views of your surroundings while indulging in delicious food and premium wines.
Langmeil Winery estate's circa 1840's buildings are only surpassed by 3.5 acres of one of the oldest Shiraz Vineyards to be found anywhere in the world. A relaxed and down to earth tour will show you the 160 year old Heritage vineyard.
Last but not least is the Chateau Tanunda winery which was established in 1880 and today Chateau Tanunda cellar door sales offer the chance to try the range of Chateau Tanunda wine from trained staff, who will take you through a structured tasting, while surrounded by more than 3,000 French oak barrels of maturing wine. There are lofty ceilings, hand crafted red gum bars, Mintaro slate and a huge open fireplace.
After a day of relaxation, wine tasting and good food we will begin our journey back to Adelaide.

We had a wonderful trip with Kevin. He is very knowledgeable of Adelaide and Barossa with amusing stories to keep the traveller interested. The tour was professional from beginning to end and we had a great group travelling with us. Probably can do without Wolf Blass and replace with another boutique winery.
Well done . . the tour made our weekend trip to Adelaide thoroughly enjoyable."

"I am very happy to provide feed back from our recent tour. This is the second time I have done this tour, as I enjoyed the experience so much the first time that I wanted to share it with another friend!
This whole experience is really fantastic, the drivers are friendly and very informative, we gained a lot of knowledge about the region. Each winery is different, we get to walk about and see the old vines and hear the amazing stories of how they started.
Maggie Beers Farm stopover was brilliant (we took some good photos there in the kitchen)! The shared lunch was a fun happy experience, and we were provided with the best quality local products. So a very happy customer, and I will return!!
Thank you very much

"Hello,
Our experience was great!! The communication was 'spot on' and the experience was every bit as good as we had hoped! We were treated very well from pick up to drop off point.
We would and already have recommended Australian Explorer. The guide (Gavin) was very knowledgable and was most hospitable and informative. Also each venue that we visited was so welcoming and prepared for our arrival and we agreed that we could only attribute this to your organisational skills and well regarded reputation, as well as the venue's desire to focus on the tourist population.
Many thanks for the amazing insights!! 10/10
