Learn to skydive and experience the thrill of 60 seconds free-fall on your very first jump. Undoubtedly the best way you can learn to skydive. Internationally recognised, this course involves up to 9 hours of comprehensive training before you jump. Having learned the skills of free-fall and flying your parachute, you exit the aircraft with two instructors actually holding on to you, just to make sure everything goes to plan. After you deploy your parachute by 4,000 feet you will fly through the sky to your landing area.
The Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) skydiving course is the most comprehensive introduction to sports skydiving and consists of nine stages comprising a minimum of 10 jumps. The ground training, classroom work and skydiving take place at the Drop Zone and Leederville Office.
Once you have demonstrated an understanding of the skydiving skills learnt during your ground training you can progress to a skydiving jump wearing your own parachute and with two skydiving instructors, one on each side of you. They are there to hold on to the grips on your jumpsuit to help maintain your stability during freefall and to check your altitude awareness before deployment.
Once you have successfully deployed your parachute you will commence the final stage of your skydiving adventure – landing. You'll have clear air to fly through while you're guided back to earth by your Target Control Officer (TCO) on the ground.

Training begins on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5.30 pm to 8.00 pm in our office. Saturday training and jump is completed at our skydive centre in York. You MUST do all the training in one week.

GUIDELINES
You must be over 18 years of age and under 105 kilograms.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Please wear runners or joggers and loose comfortable clothing. Avoid jeans if possible.
OTHER
No alcohol 8 hours prior to skydiving. All participants are required to sign an indemnity form prior to jumping.
