Enjoy superb and glorious views whilst floating majestically and effortlessly over the stunning valley's of the Scenic Rim & the heritage city of Ipswich, part of the greater Brisbane region!
The greater Brisbane and Scenic Rim region in South East Queensland is the ultimate place to experience the magic and adventure of hot air ballooning.
After being greeted 20 minutes prior to sunrise, your pilot will brief you and your fellow passengers on the morning’s proceedings. After final weather checks by the pilot, you will then be taken to the chosen launch site, based on the mornings wind speed and direction. You might even be able to assist with the inflation of the hot air balloon.
Once the balloon is inflated, the hot air balloon will lift off for your flight which will be approximately 1 hour in duration.
Whilst floating majestically and effortlessly, your balloon flight combines the city and country in one flight. Your balloon flight is tranquil yet exhilarating. As the world slowly awakens, you float peacefully overhead, witnessing the serenity in slow motion from the balloon basket.
Breathtaking views of the city of Ipswich & its classic Queenslanders, heritage buildings and homes, Flinders Peak, Mt. Walker, the Great Dividing & McPherson Ranges, Mt. Tamborine, Moreton Bay, the skyline of Brisbane, Mount Coot-tha, D'Aguilar Range, Wivenhoe Dam, the Brisbane, Fassifern & Lockyer Valleys and the Brisbane & Bremer Rivers.
Upon landing, you may become involved in assisting the crew in packing up the hot air balloon or taking photographs. Afterwards our crew will return you to Ipswich for a sumptuous sit down restaurant breakfast including a full hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, and hash browns) and a continental breakfast (cereals, breads, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, juice, milk, tea & coffee). A commemorative flight certificate will be presented to each passenger to conclude the morning’s activity.

The price quoted is for one child, aged 6-12 years. We operate with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 people. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule your experience for a later date. Adult prices are also available, please refer to product code FTG592. |
GUIDELINES
Children are welcome and MUST be accompanied by a paying adult. The child must be able to see over the edge of the basket (1.2m high) unaided by any person or objects for safety reasons. Children MUST be 6 to 12 years of age. Children five years and under are not permitted. |
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Hot air ballooning is an outdoor, early morning, soft adventure activity. We recommend comfortable layers of outdoor clothing to match the season, a hat and sturdy shoes for the morning dew. No open foot wear or high heels are permitted. Please don’t forget to bring a camera! |

Parents must complete and sign a standard company 'Registration, Medical Check & Assumption of Risk’ form before the flight on behalf of any children. You will be briefed and given safety instructions on the day. This includes take off & landing positions. |

HOW LONG IS MY GIFT VOUCHER VALID FOR?
All gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. |
CAN I EXTEND THE VALIDITY OF MY GIFT VOUCHER?
Extension options are available upto an additional 3 months from the date of purchase.
If your voucher has not yet expired, we can extend your voucher for an administration fee of $10.00 per month / per voucher (upto three months).
If your voucher has already expired and you contact us within 30 days of its expiry, we can extend it for an administration fee of $30.00 per month / per voucher (one month only).
If your voucher has already expired and you contact us more than 30 days after the expiry of your voucher, the voucher cannot be extended. |
