This luxury cottage accommodation was the first bluestone residence built on the Ballarat goldfields. It is the only one still standing and is classified by the National Trust! Today it is a private escape, where you can treat yourself to a few days of sheer luxury.
This self-contained cottage includes a queen-size bedroom with ensuite and claw-foot bath. Whilst maintaining its historic character, the cottage includes all the modern touches to ensure your stay is comfortable, with its sitting room with gas log fire, air conditioner, internet connection and a kitchen/breakfast room with espresso machine.
Enjoy your full gourmet breakfast - provisions are on hand for you to prepare at your leisure - in the kitchen or head to the outdoor courtyard for some fresh air and catch up on the daily newspaper. Included in the breakfast basket are cereals, freshly baked bread, omelettes with your choice of fillings, freshly squeezed juice, 12 varieties of espresso coffee, specialty teas and chocolates – this is sure to start your day off well!
With this special chocolate lover's indulgence package you will also find your room decked out with all kinds of chocolaty goodies. Accompany your coffee with a mouth-watering handmade truffle or stir it with a chocolate-coated spoon! Take a lavish bath, overflowing with chocolate bubbles, and enjoy a glass of Moet & Chandon champagne.
You will also be given two vouchers for Sjokolate, the local chocolate shop, where you can enjoy a chocolate platter for two while watching the finest chocolates being made by hand!
