All of the experiences listed below can be booked for a specific date or provided as a gift voucher. This is the ultimate jet fighter pilot experience. You and an adversary get to go head to head in an air combat dog fight! Each passenger flying in their very own Strikemaster Jet! This misson involves two BAC Strikemaster Jet Aircraft and runs for 40 minutes and is tailored to the passengers - from mild to wild!
Our 30 Minute Combat Strike Mission is the top of the line single jet mission in the BAC Strikemaster Jet. Our Combat Strike Mission is a predominately low level flight, the Strike Mission offers the most adrenalin packed experience of them all. A low-level, high-speed strike or attack on a ground based target including a simulated weapons release.
Our 30 Minute Top Gun Jet Mission is a High and Low altitude Air Combat Mission and features a full range of aerobatics, extreme speed, high and low G, high speed fighter combat maneuvers and tactical maneuvers. This flight is for anyone who wants to experience what it’s like to be a top-gun fighter pilot and will leave you begging for more!
During our popular Hot Shot Jet Mission you will fly a full range of aerobatics, aileron and barrel rolls, a full loop straight up, then inverted then back down the other side and pull up, derry turns, hesitation rolls and many others. All of our flights can be tailored to suit your individual needs. Whether you choose a mild or wild mission this will be an experience of a lifetime.
The real deal! This mission involves you and a mate pitting yourselves against each other in dogfight manoeuvres using two L-39 jet fighters. This mission is for the true aviation fanatics and includes close formation flying as well as aerobatic manoeuvres prior to the dogfight segment. See if you can maintain tally on your threat and defeat the enemy with superior energy management and skill.
As co-pilot you'll help defend Newcastle in a simulated maritime strike against shipping targets off the coast using realistic RAAF style tactical manoeuvring. Just like the land strike you will be briefed on likely threats ingress tactics, attack profiles, weapon choice and egress manoeuvring required to avoid falling victim to enemy gunnery.
This combines the airshow aerobatics mission with a simulated low-level bombing strike using current RAAF tactical ingress, attack and egress manoeuvres against a simulated target. You will be briefed on likely threats, both air and surface such a surface to air missiles [SAMS] and opposing aircraft and how these threats would be minimised.
Experience the raw thrill of the aerobatic manoeuvres used in almost every airshow routine conducted by demonstration pilots around the world: the four point hesitation roll, the barrel roll and the lazy eight or even the impressive vertical roll, if you dare. We adapt the flight as we go so if you can handle the pressure, we'll give you the Gs.
Our 25 Minute Fighter Tactics Mission also includes some tried and proven fighter tactical manoeuvres still used by the RAAF's Top Gun fighter pilots such as the 'Split S' and the 'Derry turn'. The briefing will cover the application of these defensive manoeuvres and the techniques used in their execution. We'll then end up with a high-speed low-level dash to 'Home plate' at Hunter Valley Airfield.
