I have always wanted to go in a glider. Never had the time to. Has anyone done this before. If so where and how good was it?

Hey there, yes i have been in a glider before and would have to say that it is the most relaxed form of flying i have ever experienced.
There is no engine and its just a floating effect. I cant tell you where to do it in australia as i did it in america but have a look in the experiences section of this site and im sure you will find something.

Hi I have flown gliders for 30 odd years. Type GFA (Gliding federation of Australia) into your search engine. You will find plenty of info about gliding plus a list of all the gliding clubs in Australia and their web sites.
Gliding has something for everybody. The rush of aerobatics, the challenge of competition cross country flying or just the joy of floating arround the clouds.
