LAST UPDATED : 30 August 2009 at 16:06:47 Dear travellers, unfortunately there are lots of sad road kill sights along Australian highways. But YOU CAN HELP! Please travel prepared with a wildlife rescue kit, in the case of finding animals that have been hit by vehicles but are still alive.
Or simply count numbers of road kill you see between 100km stretches, and share your information with facebook site 'Australians Against Road Kill (AARK)' at;
