Hi im very interested in purchasing a Jet ski, does anyone have any idea on what to buy and what to steer clear of?
Are they easy to travel with in comparision to a boat. There is only the wife and i so size is not really an issue, and maintenance etc?
Any information would be great.

Hi there, personaly I would purchase a jet ski over a boat because they are a lot more compact then a boat. Plus you can get in all the shallow areas.
I would have to say you cant go past a Seadoo and a Yamaha, these are great. I dont know much about the other brands but im sure they are of equal quality.
If you can buy a brand new one, as you never know how well they have been looked after when buying second hand.
Hope you find a great deal.
Regards
Nade.

Hi there mate, i think you should defintely go with the Seadoo XP series, great 2 seater ski, i have a 2007 model and it is capable of everything and great in unsettled waters.
I have had some boats in my time and i would suggest a jet ski, it is so easy to get in and out of the water, and is lighter to tow so you should save money on fuel. Have a great trip.
