I have never snorkeled before, i really want to though. Im heading out to daydream island in cairns and wanted to know if there are any tips to snorkeling before i get there. If so please let me know.

Hey kate, firstly you have picked a great spot to go to, Daydream island is amazing.
The only thing I can say from my experiences of snorkelling is spend the money and buy your own as they are very old and used when hiring them.
At least then you will have a clean good working setup. If you have not ever snorkelled before but you can swim ok you wont have a problem, plus there are plenty of people around willing to help. Have a good one.
