Australia 2008/2009 - anyone?

Hey,

I'm 18 years old and from England. I'm off to Australia later this year around Sept/Oct time and I'm looking for people to join me.

I was hoping to pick up some work along the way just to keep myself going so I'm also looking for people who wouldn't mind renting out a place and sharing the costs.

After that, I'm hoping maybe to go to New Zealand and then onto the Pacific..and then who knows..

I haven't booked anything yet so I'm open to new ideas.

If anyone's interested get in touch, because it'll be great to start booking soon.

Hiya,
I also want to go to Australia round about this time, I am also 18, just beginning my gap year after a-levels. At the moment im working and trying to save money etc. but would like to go out there to work/travel around whilst doing so..

How much do you think is needed before going out there? as basically as soon as I have enough I want to go work in Oz instead of here..

Anyway, you planned your trip anymore?

I'm a 26 yo f from scotland, would like to travel at end of year for 3-6 months, maybe longer depending how it goes, but aprehensive bout going on own.

Hey im 20 im female and also traveling alone and a bit scared would be great to go with another girl have researched a really good hostel in perth with event ever night and stuff would be fun to travel with a girl around the same age get in touch soon or add me on facebook.

Hey, leaving for Australia tomoz via LA for a few nights. Arriving in Melbourne on the 4th for a week then going Sydney to stay in wakeup for a week or so. Then going wherever i wake up and want to go :P

Any of you guys got similar plans?
