QLD for XMAS?

I am sick of all the family stuff that goes on at xmas. I am from VIC and thinking I might escape to QLD and spend 25-12-07 to 1-1-08 swimming and sunning myself on the coast.

Any one got any advise, or wanna join me???

ill be doing the same thing but hopefully leaving in november... how are you planning on getting there? i plan on driving but fuel costs and travelling alone are not looking good. i'm also from vic

I'm from Canada and will be in Australia for the Xmas holidays as well to get away from all the family stuff. Don't know what my plans are yet, but first how old are you?
