Traveling Oz from Mid November for approx 1 year starting Sydney

Hi,
My name's Kate, I'm 26 and from UK. I was due to be traveling round Australia with a friend but unfortunately she's had to go back to USA so I'm looking for someone to possibly travel with/meet up with along the way.

I'm looking to start in Sydney and my plan from there is - there is no plan. I just want to enjoy myself and not work to any particular schedule (although I will have to work on my way around to fund my travels!)
I'm pretty chilled out and have recently finished traveling Thailand before teaching in Prague.

Soooo, if anyone's out and about in Oz around this time, It'd be lovely to hear from you.

I live on the Sunshine Coast and am wanting to get away for 3-4 weeks over Dec-Jan. Dont have travel companion so i thought i'd try online.

I'm 33, male, and like to dive, and ride motrcycles. Was thinking about a whirlwind Tasmania trip, not sure?

Hey Kate,

I was due to come out in Dec but been put back to 28 Jan now. I am planning to spend some time in Sydney, get to know the place and meet lots of the locals but other than that I have no real plans.

I have never really travelled like this before but am quite chilled out and like the idea of having no plans or schedules to stick too.

If your about in late Jan then maybe meet up?

Hi Kate,
I live in Brisbane and am planning to travel to Alice springs in March, taking about 3 weeks seeing the sights along the way. Travelling in my 4x4 and camping wherever i stop. I am also thinking of a week on Moreton island in late Jan if that interests you.
